Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Guilty Pleasures Vol 1 HC Var - $12.99
Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Guilty Pleasures Vol 1 HC
Written by Laurell. K. Hamilton. Adapted by Stacie Ritchie and Jess Ruffner-Booth. Penciled by Brett Booth. Best-Selling author LAURELL K. HAMILTON offers readers a brand-new experience in the world of ANITA BLAKE in a beautiful hardcover edition! Fusing mythology, werewolves and vampires with a story loaded with mystery, action and romance, the ANITA BLAKE novels take place in a world where vampires, werewolves, and other creatures of nightmare have been declared legal citizens of the United States. ANITA BLAKE is an 'animator' - a profession that involves raising the dead for a living. ANITA BLAKE is also known as a fearsome hunter of criminal vampires, and she moonlights by investigating cases that are far too much for 'conventional' police. But as Anita gains the attention of the vampire masters in her hometown of St. Louis, she also risks revealing an intriguing secret about herself - the source of her unusual strength and power. As a special treat, Anita Blake fans will also discover an original side story featuring Anita and Dolph, written specially for the hardcover edition by LAURELL K. HAMILTON. 168 PGS.

The trailer for the new "Die Hard" movie is out. Sure, you can roll your eyes quicker than you can say, "Live Free or Die Hard!", but isn't John McClane really just the original Jack Bauer? I used to be into smart movies, thinking movies. Then I had kids. Now all I want is explosions:

As it happens, this volume is particularly rich in never-before-reprinted strips: Over 150 (more than one fifth of the book!) have never seen the light of day since their original appearance over 40 years ago, so this will be a trove of undiscovered treasures even for avid Peanuts collectors. Conluvio TP - $15.99
Conluvio -onis f. [collection of impurities, filth]; of people, [scum, rabble]... first, artist Ben Templesmith (30 Days of Night, Wormwood Gentleman Corpse) offered up a collection of some of his best art in the form of his last art book, Tommyrot. Now, he's back with a second collection, this one made up entirely of never-before-published art from Ben. Meet the Interdimensional Part-Time Assassins Guild (IPAG), a motley bunch of assorted scum, lowlifes, killers and degenerates. Ninety-six pages of paintings, character designs and idea generations from the alcohol-pickled mind of the artist.
