ToW-Patrol,
We have an excellent week of new releases ahead of us, but first it is my duty to update you on the bus-sized satellite currently on a collision course with Earth. President Bush is now acting upon my suggestion to blow that sucker out of the sky with a rocket! I picture the military training for this mission by playing Missile Command on an Atari 2600. Anyway, the reason they decided to shoot it down is that the satellite contains over 1,000 pounds' worth of hydrazine, which could release a toxic gas over a populated area roughly the size of two football fields. Panic!
If only the writer's strike wasn't keeping Jack Bauer out of commission! He'd torture someone and then fly up in a helicopter to knock the satellite out of the sky. Who needs writers for that show, anyway? "I promise you, the hyrdrazine will not be released!"
Best,
Andy

Path Of The Assassin Vol 9 TP (Mature Readers) - $7.99
The world of samurai and ninja is not just killing, politics, intrigue, and actioin. It's also about family, spirit, love, and sex. If there were ever an issue of Path of the Assassin that could be entitled 'the sex issue,' this would probably be it. Not just the act of sex, but the feelings, doubts, methods, results, and politics of sex. The results can mean a son or daughter fated to the politics of advantage and danger. The doubts can lead to an unfocused mind. The methods can be a result of doubt, but can be their own distraction as well. The feelings can be good, bad, and ugly. And all of these elements amount to the politics of sex. However, if you fear that all this talk of sex means this volume of Path of the Assassin lacks the the expected swordplay, gushing blood, and drama you've come to love, well please don't worry. Rather the sexplay only provides a framework for those standards, making for an oddly exciting volume of our samurai/ninja tale of conquest. Each volume comes shrink-wrapped and carries an 18+ content advisory.
